Our Salt Lake Film Society Leadership
Our leadership team guides Gloriafilm Society with vision, creativity, and a shared belief that film can unite people and spark meaningful conversations.

  • Wayne Lee – Founder & Executive Director

    A retired U.S. Air Force officer and lifelong storyteller, Wayne founded Gloriafilm Society in 2017 in honor of his mother, Gloria Lee. Drawing on years of experience running the original Gloria Film Festival (2002–2008), Wayne leads the Society’s mission to empower storytellers, celebrate diverse voices, and build community through film.

  • Managing Director

    Oversees day-to-day operations, partnerships, and member engagement, ensuring each event and initiative reflects Gloriafilm Society’s creative and community-first vision.

  • Creative Director

    Leads the artistic programming and curation of films, workshops, and events, helping to elevate new filmmakers and diverse stories from Utah and beyond.

  • Director of Communications

    Manages media, press relations, and storytelling strategy, sharing the Society’s impact across audiences and platforms.

Our Board of Directors and Advisory Committee include filmmakers, educators, nonprofit leaders, and community advocates dedicated to advancing the arts in Utah. Their insight, integrity, and enthusiasm help guide Gloriafilm Society’s growth and long-term sustainability.
